Aquatics Program
Our program is led by a certified Water Safety Instructor and a team of lifeguards, all 18+ & American Red Cross certified. Campers enjoy our larger-than-Olympic-size pool, which features three distinct swimming areas: shallow, middle, & deep. The deep end includes a central dock and a water slide, making it a favorite spot! For safety, campers are assigned colored wristbands and must pass a deep-water test before using the deep end. Schedule Camp Floradan follows a structured 7-period day that balances swimming with a variety of fun activities. Each group’s schedule is unique and incorporates exciting daily themes. Sample Schedule below. 1st Period: Kickball 2nd period: Swim Instruction 3rd Period: Arts and Crafts 4th Period: Lunch 5th period: GaGa Ball 6th period: Soccer Snack 7th period: General Swim Dance & Hat Masquerade One of our most beloved traditions is the annual Dance & Hat Masquerade. Each summer, campers work with their counselors to choreograph dances and design custom hats. The performance is a highlight of the season—something both campers and staff look forward to from day one! |
